Born in Sardinia [Siniscola (Nu) – Italy] in 1961 and graduated in architecture at the Politecnico of Milan in 1988.
From 1988 to 1992 he worked in Guido Canali’s architectural office of Parma (IT), participating an important projects of restoration: restoration and recovery of Paradigna Certosa in Parma; renovation of nineteenth-century rooms in the National Gallery - Palazzo Pilotta in Parma (IT); restoration and reuse Fortezza Priamar in Savona (IT); competition for the recovery and reuse of the Complex of Santa Maria della Scala, Siena (IT). From 1996 to 2008 operates in Sardinia as partner and manager designer for the A.R.P. associated office of Oristano, dealing with public works of restoration and museum’s exhibition. The most important works in this period were: restoration and renovation of the native house of G. Deledda in Nuoro (IT); Terranova redevelopment of the shopping center in Olbia (IT) with architect Aldo Rossi; renovation, expansion and construction of the Museum Ethnographic Sardinia in Nuoro (IT). In 2008 he opened a studio in Parma. From 2008 to 2010 always in the public sphere, the important projects concern: restoration the Church of San Giuseppe degli Scolopi in Cagliari; redevelopment of a streets Bixio and Costituente in Parma (IT) with architect G. Salimei - T.studio; redevelopment of a square of Santa Elisabetta district in Parma (IT). In 2009 invited by the Superintendent BAPSAE for the provinces of Cagliari and Oristano, as speaker at the conference organized by the European Heritage Days about "The fund of Religious buildings", the speech entitled: "The Church of San Giuseppe degli Scolopi in Castello: The first batch of the restoration work. In recent years (2011 / 2014), designs and manages projects of private apartments, buildings and condominium and participates in several international competitions. |
